Another day at the office, another PR Update…

It’s monday morning and I am disgusted at myself for not making the most of the long weekend we have here in South Africa. Tomorrow is a public holiday, but today I am sitting in front of my PC reading RSS feeds, preparing to write this post and gearing up for a full day at the office.

Well, I guess I have to make the most of what today offers, so I thought I’d write a short post before moving on to other stuff.

While reading through my feeds, I discovered that Google has updated the Google Toolbar PR score (PageRank). I was not aware that the update took place (surprise, surprise) and from various posts and comments it seems that some people are overjoyed while others are dismayed at the new PR score their sites have received.

To me this is not a factor which I regularly monitor but it is always interesting to see what the score for my sites are. So, if you have the Google toolbar installed, visit your site and see if your site PR has changed or visit this site to find out what it is.

This is a list of 100 top blog sites with the most feed subscribers. There are some well known blogs which are worthy of the number of subscribers they are getting simply because of the interesting content they provide. Many who are on this list are unknown to me and I have to go do some bookmarking and make some feed additions.

If I look at the number of subscribers on those blogs compared to my feeble 7 subscribers, then I feel like hiding my face in shame, but then I realise that we all start somewhere and even though it may be a long journey for some, we should not despise small beginnings.

Perhaps that should be the tip of the day !.

Just a note to the few subscribers to my blog, thank you for finding my blog content worthy of reading.
