Search Engine Stategies Worldwide conferences
For some time now I have just dreamed about visiting some form of Marketing conference such as the Search Engine Strategies conference events. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend these international events simply because of expenses. Well, it looks like I have to continue dreaming as they do not seem to have an event scheduled on African soil soon.
The current Search Engine Strategies Events Calender looks like this:

SES London: Feb 19-21, 2008
Why do I dream about this: because you have access to the world’s largest gathering of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing solution providers, potential partners and affiliates. You can mingle with the world’s most influential people in Search and make connections with those in the know.
The SES London event is probably the closest and most affordable, but I have some saving to do.
I know about the Mobile and Web New Media Marketing Conference which is ending today but do you know of other local events here in South Africa?

You know. I must second you on this one. I am constantly looking for local SEO conferences and training courses but they’re very far and few between. I was lucky enough to have attended the Bruce Clay training course in Cape Town last year and I attended to courses in San Diego (casino SEO) but yeah, lets get them here dammit, why are we always LAST ON THE LIST!
