Yahoo! updates Search Index

According to the Yahoo! Search Blog, a new search index was “rolled out” a couple of nights/days ago. The blog notes that there may be some changes in website ranking as well as some shuffling of pages that are included in the index. This will last throughout this process and the whole update should be complete very soon.

No further details are given except that they commented on the feedback received from people who submitted spam reports through Site Explorer. The blog says that the reports are continuously being included to the index updates and the feedback is useful useful to keep spam out of Yahoo! search results.
