Which web page elements lead to high Google rankings?

A Recent study was done by a German company, Sistrix, where they analyzed web page elements of top ranked pages within Google to find out which elements lead to high Google rankings. According to the study, they analyzed 10,000 random keywords, and for every keyword, they analyzed the top 100 Google search results.

While reading my news and feeds this morning, I discovered that Google made some upgrades to their Trends tool by adding a “Hot Trends” tracker. Google Trends is a great resource for keyword research, and now this new “Hot Trends” feature makes it easier to see what’s hot on Google on a daily basis.
